It's the second bronze medal for Taiwan's boxers in Paris - after Wu Shi-yi placed third in the women's 60-kilogram event after losing her semifinal bout.

The men's table tennis team has been eliminated by Japan in the quarterfinals in Paris.
Veteran player Zhuang Zhi-yuan and Gao Cheng-rui lost the opening doubles match 3-1.
Lin Yun-ru won his singles match 3-2 to draw level on overall points.
However, Gao then lost his singles match in three straight games and Zhuang was beaten by his Japanese opponent by three straight games in his singles match.

Taiwan's women's table tennis team has reached the quarterfinals in Paris after beating Australia in their opening match of the division.
Jien Tong-juan and four-time Olympian Chen Si-yu won their opening doubles match in three straight games in 18 minutes.
Zheng Yi-qing won her singles match after beating her Australian opponent in three straight games.
And Chen beat her Australian opponent 3-2 in her singles match to ensure Taiwan's women's table tennis team advanced.
They next face the top-seeded Chinese team in today's quarterfinal.

Taiwan's participation in track and field athletics at the Paris Olympics has came to an end after sprinter Yang Chun-han failed to advance from the repe-sharge round in the men's 200-meters.
Yang failed to secure a semifinal berth after he finished third with a time of 20.73-seconds in the round, where 32 runners compete in four heats.
Yang was entered in the repe-sharge round after failing to secure automatic advancement after finishing sixth in the first qualifying round.
Taiwan had four other athletes competing in track and field athletics this year - Lin Yu-tang in men's long jump, Peng Ming-yang in men's 400-meter hurdles, and Zhang Po-ya in women's 100-meter hurdles.
