Gymnast Tang Jia-hong has won bronze in the horizontal bar at the Paris Olympics despite failing to catch the bar on a move and falling to the mat.
Tang's score of 13.966 was good enough for a tie for third place with China's Zhang Boheng.
Six of the eight finalists either failed to grab the bar during their routines or fell to the mat on their dismounts.
Tang is known by the nickname of Taiwan's "King of Cats" for his forte vertical "cat" jump.

The men's table tennis team beat their Egyptian opponents to secure a place in the quarterfinals in Paris.
Veteran Zhuang Zhi-yuan and Kao Cheng-rui began the doubles match with 3-2 win over five games.
Lin Yun-ru then won his singles match in straight games to give Taiwan's team a two-match lead.
And Kao later sealed the victory after beating his opponent 3-1 in the second singles match.
They next face Japan in the quarterfinals.

Sprinter Yang Chun-han has failed to advance in the men's 200-meters after finishing sixth with a time of 20.83-seconds in the first qualifying round.
Yang will have another opportunity to advance later today in a second round of play-off qualifiers.
Referred to here in Taiwan's as the island's "fastest man," Yang is making his 200-meters debut in Paris after competing in the 100-meters event at the Tokyo Games.
He also failed to moved on from the qualifying rounds there.
