Rock Hsu Appointed Acting SEF Chair

The Mainland Affairs Council has announced the appointment of Rock Hsu as the
Straits Exchange Foundation's acting chairman.

Hsu previously served as Foundatio vice chairman.

His temporary promotion comes after former S-E-F chair Cheng Wen-tsan
resigned earlier this month amid allegations of corruption.

The 80-year old Hsu is the president of Kinpo-Compal Group.

His previous posts also included serving as a senior advisor to the president.
