Second U.S. Congressional Group Visits Taiwan Since President Lai

Ching-te's Inauguration

A second US Congressional group has arrived in Taiwan since President Lai
Ching-te's inauguration.

The delegation, which includes Senators Tammy Duckworth, Dan Sullivan, Chris
Coons, and Laphonza Butler...

...will meet with key officials such as Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim and
National Security Council Secretary-General Joseph Wu.

The visit aims to underscore bipartisan U.S. support for Taiwan following
recent Chinese military drills.

Duckworth emphasized the importance of supporting allies like Taiwan in the
face of escalating threats from China.

Another bipartisan U.S. delegation, led by Republican Michael McCaul, is also
in Taiwan.
