Czech Republic Looking into Allegations Chinese Diplomat Tailed Hsiao

The government of the Czech Republic says it's investigation allegations that a Chinese diplomat tailed Vice President-elect Hsiao Bi-khim during her visit to the country last month.
The statement by Czech officials comes after Taiwan's representative office in Prague contacted authorities following reports by a news site that a Chinese diplomat was stopped by police while following Hsiao's motorcade.
The report by the Prague-based news site Seznam Zpravy cited the head of the Czech Republic-based think tank as saying a car was found tailing Hsiao's motorcade as it traveled from Prague airport to the city center.
The head of the European Values Center for Security Policy said after police stopped the car, they found it was being driven by a Chinese diplomat from the military section of the Chinese Embassy in Prague.
The think tank head also says "Chinese governmental surveillance" continued until Hsiao arrived at her hotel in the Czech capital.
The same reports is citing Czech Senator Pavel Fischer as saying the Chinese diplomat's alleged behavior was "like a gangster."
Hsiao visited the Czech Republic from March 17 to 19 to speak at a seminar.
