Authorities have issued fines, as a case of mass food poisoning in Taipei records more victims.
New Taipei authorities say a 31-year-old woman reported experiencing symptoms of food poisoning days earlier, but is now recovering.
And Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an also reported another patient in a press conference last hour.
Taipei City's Department of Health say they are handing down fines of $2.5-million NT against Polam Kopitiam, the restaurant responsible for the contaminated dishes.
The officials say the restaurant failed to take out product liability insurance, and also provided false information about its business locations.
The department says it is continuing its investigation of high-risk ingredients used at the restaurant, including sauces and starch products, and officials will also step up checks at department store food courts.
This comes after prosecutors confirmed that an autopsy of the second victim who died after dining at Polam Kopitiam also turned up the presence of Bongkrekic acid.
The rare toxin was detected in the the first Polam victim, marking the first time ever that Bongkrekic acid has been found in Taiwan.
