Hsinchu City Subsidizes Senior Dental Care

The Hsinchu City Government is offering up to $60-thousand NT in subsidies
for complete dentures to senior citizens over 65, and indigenous people over
55, with six or fewer natural teeth.

This initiative, aimed at improving seniors' quality of life, is now
accepting applications.

Last year, 364 seniors benefited from this program, with 282 successfully
fitted with new dentures.

With 41 specialized dental clinics participating, over 3-thousand-200 seniors
have already received improved dental care.

Eligible residents can apply at the Hsinchu City Public Health Bureau,
bringing necessary documents for a free oral screening at designated clinics.
