Domino's Pizza Sauce With Carcinogen Intercepted

A batch of Domino's Pizza sauce imported from the United States was
intercepted at the border.

The Food and Drug Administration revealed the 20-thousand kilogram batch was
found to contain a carcinogen: ethylene oxide.

Domino's Pizza promptly suspended the use of the affected sauce and replaced
it with Taiwanese-made alternatives at all its stores in Taiwan.

The company emphasized its commitment to food safety and says it collaborates
with reputable suppliers and enforces strict quality control measures.

It says it's cooperating with health authorities for further testing and
reassured consumers that no affected sauce is currently in use.

Domino's Pizza expressed gratitude for consumers' patience and trust and
pledged to maintain high standards of food safety and quality control.
