The goverment-led Taiwan Bio-Manufacturing Corporation is partnering with a
US-based biomanufacturing company (to focus on biologics, vaccines, m-RNA
medications, cell therapy, and gene therapy).

Aspiring to be the "TSMC of biotech contract manufacturing", the
collaboration aims for mass production within two years.

Minister of Economic Affairs Wang Mei-hua highlights the initiative's
potential to establish Taiwan as a leading force in the global biotech
industry.

While Premier Chen Chien-jen emphasizes T-B-M-C's role in combining
innovation and talent, marking a significant step for Taiwan's biotech
capabilities.

He says partnership with National Resilience is expected to enhance Taiwan's
pharmaceutical manufacturing, addressing health, medical, and national
security needs, while paving the way to expand into the global market.
