Mycoplasma pneumoniae detection from inbound passenger

One new case of mycoplasma pneumoniae was found in an inbound passenger...
Since November 26th, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has encouraged the testing of individuals returning from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau who have flu-like symptoms.
As of December 6th, 109 people have been tested, with 84 testing positive, 57 of which for flu.
Though recently one new case of mycoplasma pneumoniae surfaced...
CDC spokesperson Lo Yi-chun explained that it involved a male child aged over 10 inbound from China.
During a telephone follow-up, the family reported the child had sought medical attention at hospital, and he's reportedly feeling better.
The CDC points out the respiratory epidemic in China has shifted to being the flu, and that mycoplasma pneumoniae is still on the decline.
