NPP: Huang GuoChang Fundraiser Nets Over 8Million

Fundraising efforts to support TPP legislative candidate Huang Kuo-chang has
reportedly exceeded expectations.

Huang held a fundraising drive online yesterday, and party representatives
claim the drive collected over $8-million NT.

The party says the online site was temporarily disabled after being flooded
with traffic, and donors had to be redirected to another campaign account to
contribute funds.

Huang had called for netizens to donate $500NT each, saying that campaigning
and helping TPP presidential candidate Ko Wen-zhe will both require
resources.
