Kaohsiung MRT Stations to be Renamed

According to Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation, five MRT stations will
undergo name changes, as per the Gangshan-Luzhu Extension Project.

The first phase of the Red Line extension is scheduled to open in June next
year, and to facilitate the construction, existing Red and Orange Line
stations will be renamed.

The MRT Company explains that the Gangshan-Luzhu Extension spans a total
length of 13.08 kilometers and is divided into three construction phases.

The first phase, extending from Nangangshan Station northwards, includes the
addition of the "Gangshan Station" and is 1.46 kilometers long, and expected
to open in June next year.
