Tai-Ex Jumps 100 Points in Early Trading

The Tai-Ex jumped 100-points in early trading this morning.

The market hit 17,300 points within an hour of opening - as investors reacted
to a rise in Wall Street overnight that drove U-S indexes to their highest
close since August.

The local main board was driven by investor interest in electronics and
artificial intelligence development-related stocks - with Wistron, Wiwynn,
Quanta, and Gigabyte all rising.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, MediaTek and Hon Hai also all gained
ground.
