Hsiao Bi-khim has submitted her resignation as Taiwan's top envoy to the U-S to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It comes ahead of pending formal announcement by D-P-P presidential candidate Lai Ching-te this afternoon that he has chosen her as his running mate for January's election.
