The Shilin District Prosecutors' Office has indicted actor and singer Aaron
Yan for filming and leaking intimate videos of a 16-year-old boy with whom he
had a physical relationship.

According to the prosecutors' office, Yan has been charged with violating of
the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act.

Prosecutors say Yan sent footage from intimate videos of internet celebrity
Raku to two netizens.

The indictment comes after Raku made accusations on Facebook in June that Yan
filmed the two of them engaged in intimate acts without his consent, and
leaked the videos in 2018.

Raku began a relationship with Yan in 2017.

He has accused Yan of threatening him not to go public with details of the
case.

Yan is denying leaking the videos - and told prosecutors that he asked
friends to help remove them from online websites.

Yan is facing a possible prison sentence of between six months and five years
if found guilty.
