Taiwan has pledged more funds to help rebuild the Ukrainian City of Bucha.
Taiwan's Representative in Poland Wu Shang-nian signed an agreement on behalf of the government, to donate $600-thousand US dollars to help rebuild air raid shelters and reconstruct a children's sports school in Bucha.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk attended the ceremony in Warsaw, and Bucha City refugees were also on hand to witness the signing of the assistance and reconstruction agremeent.
The mayor expressed gratitude for the support and assistance from the Taiwanese government, and says Taiwan and Ukraine are connected by their commitment to democracy and freedom.
Fedoruk said that Taiwan's assistance plan ensures the lives of Bucha City residents and provides more possibilities for the future of children.
