Military refers discharged conscript to prosecutors over poker, mahjong

The Military Police Command says it has referred a recently discharged
conscript to prosecutors after he posted photos of on-base poker and mahjong
games to social media.

The former conscript surnamed Sung, who was discharged on Dec. 29, was handed
over to prosecutors on suspicion of violating a ban on gambling on military
sites.

Meanwhile, the command says the commander, branch head, and division chief of
the Military Police Training Center could also be transferred from their
current positions if found guilty of management negligence.
