CPBL to Delay Start Date for Second Half of Baseball Season

The CPBL is announcing changes to this year's professional baseball season
schedule.

The Chinese Professional Baseball League says, since many of this season's
baseball matches have been affected by, or postponed due to, weather and
epidemic restrictions, it is delaying the starting date for the second half
of this season by a few days.

The CPBL says that instead of beginning on July 15th, the second half of this
year's baseball season will now start a few days later, on Sunday, July 19th.

There are currently two games scheduled for that first day, one between the
Fubon Guardians and the CTBC Brothers at the Rakuten Baseball Stadium in
Taoyuan, and the other game between the Wei Chuan Dragons and the
Uni-President Lions at the Tainan Baseball Stadium.
