New cinema in Gangshan opens to thousands on trial showing

The new Gangshan Showtimes Cinema in Kaohsiung opens today, and movie tickets
to trial showings have already been sold out.

The new movie theater in the Showtime Live Gangshan shopping center is
running a promotion of 100-NT movie tickets from today until the 10th.

By 7AM this morning, thousands of tickets were sold and within two hours were
completely sold out.

A cinema spokesperson reports that highest ticket sales were for Top Gun:
Maverick and Jurassic World Dominion.

The new theater boasts thirteen movie halls and seats 1,500 people.

It has the largest laser 4k screen in southern Taiwan, reaching 15 meters.
