Veteran TV Host Ba Ge Dies

Veteran television host Ba Ge has died.

He was 67.

Ba passed away from pancreatic cancer at the Linkou Chang Gung Memorial
Hospital in Taoyuan.

Born in 1954, Ba first entered the entertainment industry as a child actor at
the age of eight, starring in numerous Taiwanese language films before
graduating from what is now the National Taiwan University of Arts.

He began working for Chinese Television System after graduating and went on
spend 36 years with the station as an actor and variety show host.

Ba won Golden Bell awards for best variety show host in 1986, 1987 and again
in 1991.
