Rising production and transportation costs will mean higher car prices for Taiwan in 2022.
Taiwan's distribution agency for Hyundai says from January 1 next year, there will be an upward price adjustment of 30 thousand to 50 thousand NT for every imported Hyundai car.
Some models will also be cancelled.
Hyundai's announcement follows similar ones made earlier this year by Peugeot, Citroen and Hotai Motor Group.
Hyundai models affected by the adjustments include the Santa Fe, Kona and Kona Electric.
