21 Busted at Taipei Adult Venues for Breaking Epidemic Prevention Rules

Adult entertainment venues are back open for business, but not everyone is following the rules.
Such businesses were allowed to conditionally reopen last week, with staff required to be at least partially vaccinated and patrons required to register their contact information, and wear masks when not eating or drinking.
To make sure the rules were being adhered to, Taipei police checked a number of bars, dance halls, and tea houses last night, and caught 21 people violating the regulations.
Some businesses were not recording patron contact information, checking their temperatures, or providing disinfectants, or were employing unvaccinated workers.
At least one patron was found to be violating self-health management protocols by visiting a bar.
All these violations will be punished, and Taipei police say they will continue random inspections.
Kaohsiung has carried out a similar inspection, and also found several violators.
