Nantou Buying 1800 Tablets for Remote Learning

The Nantou County government is buying tablet computers to help students with
remote learning.

The Ministry of Education has approved the county's plan to spend 32.8
million NT to purchase 1800 tablets.

Much of that amount is being covered by central government subsidies.

The tablets have been distributed to 41 local elementary and middle schools.

Use of the tablets will be monitored by the county's Education Network
Center, which will also help students use them to connect to their classes.
