EY Approves Relief Fund Spending
Posted on 2021-06-24 14:06:14
The Executive Yuan has decided how the latest batch of coronavirus relief
funds will be spent.
In addition to previously announced subsidies, families of patients who die
from COVID-19 will now get 100 thousand NT in consolation funds.
Some 410 thousand employees who have insured monthly pay of less than 23,100
NT will be eligible for 10 thousand NT in subsidies.
More categories of workers are now included in this program.
Payments of credit card bills and other personal loans can be postponed by 3
to 6 months, without incurring interest or penalties.
Interest rates on many types of loans and insurance have also been lowered.
27 thousand permanent foreign residents are now also eligible for coronavirus
relief.
