Kaohsiung to Test 10K Migrant Workers

Kaohsiung City is getting ready to test almost 10 thousand migrant workers
living in the city.

The city plans to start the tests tomorrow at workers in three of its
industrial and science parks.

Testing has already begun at the Kaohsiung Nanzih Technology Industrial Park
and the Kaohsiung branch of the Southern Taiwan Science Park

City officials expect it will take 3 days to a week to test all the migrant
workers in those various locations.

The tests come amid coronavirus outbreaks in migrant worker dorms in other
parts of the country
