580K Already File Taxes

Tax season has just begun, but lots of people have already filed.

According to the Ministry of Finance, over 580 thousand taxpayers have
already submitted their paperwork as of this morning.

Almost a third of them did so using their mobile phones, while even more did
so using the tax filing web page.

For epidemic prevention, Finance Minister Su Jain-rong is urging more people
to file online and avoid going to tax offices in person.

Su says they will continue to make improvements to the mobile app to make it
more convenient and allow other services next year.
