MOFA: Stable US-Taiwan Relations, Security Promises Unchanged

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says US-Taiwan relations remain stable, and
US security promises to Taiwan remain unchanged.

One month after US President Joe Biden's inaugration, MOFA officials say the
US also continues to support Taiwan's participation in international
organizations.

The officials say Biden has voiced support for Taiwan on multiple occasions
since taking office, as well as expressed concern about China's provocative
actions against Taiwan.

They expressed confidence that the bilateral partnership will only strengthen
with Biden in the White House.
