There has been a drop in the number of furloughed workers this week.
The Ministry of Labor announced 3-thousand 700 employees of 344 companies are currently on unpaid leave, a decrease of over 700 individuals and 62 companies from the previous period.
One manufacturer of airplane parts and components reduced its number of furloughed workers by 200. Other manufacturers and wholesale suppliers working in or with the airline industry saw employees return to work.
The Department of Labor Standards and Equal Employment says it will continue observations to see if this suggests an upward turn for the industry.
Those working in the tourism industry are still being asked to take off the most days each month, averaging around 15 days per person.
