CECC Reports 4 New Imported Coronavirus Cases

Meanwhile,

The Central Epidemic Command Center is reporting four new imported
coronavirus cases.

The latest cases bring the total number here in Taiwan since the pandemic
began to 842.

Health officials say one of the cases in from India, while the three other
are from Indonesia.

The first case involves an Indian national in his 30s who arrived in Taiwan
on December 18 for work.

He tested positive after he was placed under self-health management following
his mandatory 14-day quarantine.

The other three cases are all fishery workers from Indonesia aged 20-30 who
arrived in Taiwan between December 27 and 30.

The epidemic command center says they have traced five contacts of two of the
Indonesian workers and have placed them under self- health management, while
the third worker had no known contacts.
