Taipei and Seoul sign MOU to Promote Cooperation in Youth Affairs

Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an and Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met to witness the
signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the two
cities on youth affairs.

Chiang said he hoped to promote visits by talented young people between the
two cities, and for young people to share spaces in the cities' innovation
incubation centers.

The Taipei mayor says his city has taken measures to help the city's young
people... Taipei has established a dedicated unit focused on vocational
training for young people and has promoted social housing that prioritizes
young families.

Chiang lauded the friendship between Taipei and Seoul, which mark their 55th
year as sister cities this year, and congratulated the South Korean capital
for recently establishing sister city relations with New York.

Chiang is in Seoul to attend the World Cities Summit Mayors Forum.
