Moon Bases

The moon is not very far away from the earth … a spaceship can go to the
moon in about three days. 月球離我們很近， 搭太空船只要3天。

Astronauts from America walked on the moon about 50 years ago… back then,
everyone thought humans would quickly build stations or bases on the moon and
astronauts would go back and forth all the time.
大家以為，自從美國登陸月球後，人類很快會在月球上蓋基地，太空人會在之間來回旅行。

But... nope! It's been more than 50 years… and there are still no moon bases.

That might change soon. America wants to build a moon base around 2030… and
now Russia and China say they will work together to build a moon base,
hopefully around 2040.
美國準備在2030年建造月球基季，而中國和俄國也計畫要一起建月球基地。

So, it's a space race! Who will go back to the moon first? Who will build the
first moon base?

The moon has a North and South Pole… and scientists think there is a lot of
ice at the South Pole. If there is ice, we can use it to get water. People
need water. If you have water... you can have a moon base.

科學家相信月球的南極有很多冰，可以提供基地所需要的水。

Hmm... A space race! Will China and Russia win? Or will America build the
first moon base? Or maybe they should work together instead of competing.

Robot Chameleon

Which animals do you think are cool? I think a chameleon is pretty cool. Have
you ever heard of a chameleon? It's a type of lizard that can change colors!
變色龍是一種蜥蜴。

Sometimes they can become really bright and eye-catching. Other times, you
can hardly see them! 變色龍有時候顏色很鮮艷，有時候很難找到牠們。

Sometimes chameleons change colors to warm up or cool down.
換顏色有時候是為了調節身體溫度。

But chameleons usually change colors to show how they are feeling, and to
communicate or "talk" to others. 通常是為了表達情緒或是想要溝通。

Some colors might mean: Hi, how you doin'? Come over to my tree.
Other colors might mean: Hey! This is my tree! Get outta here!

The ability to change colors is pretty special. 這種變顏色的能力很特別。Not
many things can do that.

But now scientists have made a robot that can. They made a robot chameleon!
科學家已經發明出機器變色龍！

In the future, the color changing technology could be used for other things,
like clothes!

Maybe we could wear a shirt that's blue in the morning and red at night!

Super Shrimp

Did you know there is a shrimp that can punch as fast as a bullet?!

Pop Cat Game

Ha! Pop Cat is a funny game! It's silly… but also funny.

I think the Pop Cat game is funny because it's so silly.

You press your finger on the phone and the cat opens its mouth and says

It's super simple. People all around the world are playing it. People in

The Octopus with 9 Legs

Everybody knows that a person has two legs, a cat has four legs, and an
octopus has eight legs, right? 章魚有8隻腳對吧？

Well, yeah, usually. But in Japan, a family got a little surprise before
dinner one night. Their octopus had nine legs!
日本的一家人正在準備享用章魚，卻發現那隻章魚有9隻腳！

Instead of thinking "Mmmm... more dinner."

They thought "Hmmm… This should go to a museum!"

So they sent the octopus away. 他們決定送章魚到博物館。

An expert from the museum said the octopus can help people learn about the
ocean.

But why did the octopus have an extra leg?

The expert said that when an octopus loses a leg, it can usually grow a new
leg to replace the lost one!
