Sun Moon Lake Recovers from Drought

Sun Moon Lake's water levels are back to normal, and that means recreational
activites at all docks are now fully restored.

Recent measurements show the reservoir's storage rate fluctuating between 91
to 96-percent, signaling an end to the difficulties from the earlier drought.

The second phase of dock restoration has started, reconnecting a dock at
Xuanguang (玄光) Pier to its original place.

The lake's National Scenic Area Administration has completed all planned
restoration works for the drought period, ensuring that the docks and
gangways are now fully operational.

They'll continue to monitor water levels and adjust measures to keep visitors
safe.
