US Lawmaker Bashes China for 'Selectively Clipping' TSMC Comments

U-S Representative Seth Moulton says the Chinese government "selectively clipped" a video in which he suggested "blowing up" Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing's facilities in Taiwan.
According to Moulton, Beijing selectively clipped his comments, spread them on social media, in an "attempt to undermine the US-Taiwan partnership"
The statement comes after a video clip began appearing on Chinese social media network Douyin earlier this month, in which the American lawmaker is seen saying .. "very clear to the Chinese that if you invade Taiwan, we are gonna blow up T-S-M-C."
The clip was spread on Twitter and picked up by local media outlets here in Taiwan - prompting government officials to weigh in on the matter.
Moulton says Beijing the spreading of the clipped comments show that Beijing "has once again tried to divide the U-S and Taiwan using disinformation by deliberately taking a comment of mine out of context."
