CECC Reporting Eight New Coronavirus Cases

The Central Epidemic Command Center is reporting eight new coronavirus cases.

All of the cases are imported.

And they involve seven men and one woman who arrived in Taiwan between
October 8 and October 26.

Four of them entered Taiwan from Indonesia, three from the Philippines and
one from the United States.

All of them tested positive for the coronavirus during their mandatory 14-day
quarantine.

The latest cases bring the total here in Taiwan since the pandemic began to
16,388.

No new deaths are being reported and the death toll remains at 847.
