Over 260 million NT in donations for Kaohsiung's fire victims has now been collected.
The Social Affairs Bureau says it plans to give 4 million NT directly to each person affected by the blaze.
The originally planned six months of housing subsidies will be extended to two full years.
If the housing found for victims doesn't have enough furniture, officials will work with civic groups to make sure basic items are provided.
Overall, 76 percent of the funds will given as consolation money to victims, while 14 percent will be spent on securing housing and taking care of victims' dependents.
The remaining 10 percent will be spent on covering medical, funeral, and burial costs.
Information about donating to the victims can be found on the ICRT website.
