South Korea has unveiled a new ballistic missile capable of carrying an eight-ton warhead at a military parades in Seoul.
The Armed Forces Day parade also featured a flypast of a U-S bomber.
Military parades had been held only infrequently in South Korea for decades, but President Yoon Suk Yeol last year revived the tradition of holding them annually.
That move is being seen a show of force to signal readiness to respond to North Korean threats.
