Terms and Conditions

1. Winners will be contacted through telephone or Facebook after the winners list is published. Winners who do not respond within 7 days or who are unable to be contacted will forfeit their prizes.

2. All prizes are given as-is. Prizes are non-transferrable and cannot be traded for cash or other prizes.

3. Guidelines and stipulations for use are as labelled on the prizes.

4. The event organizer is not legally responsible for any computer, phone, internet, or other technical problems that are out of its control, or for any lost, incorrect, unrecognizable or otherwise unreadable information submitted by event participants. Participants and winners are not allowed to object in these cases.

5. Prizes from this event can only be shipped within Taiwan proper and to the outlying islands of Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu. Organizers will not ship prizes to any other countries or territories. If winners are unable to come to ICRT in person, the prize can be sent through the post within Taiwan. The winner must send an SAE for NT$80 postage.

6. If prizes are damaged by factors outside of the organizer’s control (during shipping, etc.), ICRT reserves the right to replace the prize with one of equal value with the winner’s consent.

7. According to ROC tax law, prizes that have a value of over NT$1,000 will be included in the winner’s annual personal tax report. Winners of such prizes must provide copies of their national ID cards fill out the receipt form in order to receive their prize. Winners of prizes worth over NT$20,000 must pay 10% of that value in tax. Those unwilling to do so will be considered to have forfeited their prizes.

8. Participants in this event are considered to have agreed to these terms and conditions. The organizer reserves the right to change, suspend, or amend these rules at any time without prior notification.

9. By participating in this event, participants agree to abide by all the relevant rules and regulations as well as the Personal Information Protection Act. The organizer can cancel a violator’s participation and eligibility for prizes, and may seek compensation from them for any damage they cause.
