2008 Taiwan Lantern Festival

The Taiwan Lantern Festival is one of the most exciting celebrations of the year! Not only does it attract millions of people each year, but it is also the spotlight for local and foreign news coverage.

In 2008, the Year of the Rat, the Taiwan Lantern Festival will take place from 2/21~3/02 at Solar City in Special District New Town of Tainan County. ICRT will also be part of this great event, broadcasting live during that period. We will also ask trivia questions from time to time, and you can win prizes by answering our lantern riddle!

ICRT and the Taiwan Tourism Bureau are inviting everyone to come to Tainan for its historic sites, delicacies, and of course – the Taiwan Lantern Festival.
