Buddy Pets
I just got an idea of posting our lovely pets at home, whether it is a snake,fish,bird,dog,cat,hamster..etc.

To start of..here's my buddy name Pol (beagle),he is 2 y/o,has an even temper and gentle disposition, friendly to others even on a stranger (bad, geezz),very playful,he's favorite was small cucumber and carrots,he's a watchful dog who wants to know or smell anything (a bit annoying at times)and he will do anything for food. The only thing that he hates the most was the voice of the old man on a microphone on our street, because he will definetly bark or he will make a loud baying cry.

How about your pet?let us know about them too.

Hi eM, nice to hear from you again! So you'll be home this week?

Don't sigh... That's actually very sweet of your mom! I think my mom wouldn't mind getting rid of me in order to make out some more room for some more pigs... (Even if that's the case, I still love you, mom! )

Yeah... it's all mom's idea. I had asked for a dog a couple of months right before she got the pig, but I got refused...and look what my family ends up with now.

I remember Miss bewitch criticized the ex- news anchor True, finally she left and no one blame her. I don't mean it's becuase bewitch then True left. And I think I pretty like True and she was 100 percent better than louisa. Just because louisa was under protected by dj joseph and the tiresome butler Gardenia??? I really feel angry about this mess, I think you guys will be the same if your were in my shoes. Those attacks and insults and curses. It's ridiculous! Gardenia even said it's because I was in love secretly to dj joseph. What kind of a place here? I don't know what to say to you guys.Louisa is indeed not a good news anchor and even being an dj. Chaos! Never mind. I don't want to hate you guys here. And don't bother to reply me anything. I don't need it. Just wonder. Maybe I'll put my cute doggie's photo here. have a good day

Re: Buddy Pets
wait...Webster
so Ms. Bewitch criticized a former news anchor and she got fired because of audiences' suggestion? What happened to that? We are not the only one that thinks Ms. Hoarse's reports and her program sucks but no one concerns about our suggestion and opinions. Do we need to find all the people that hates her program/reports ALL register an ICRT account to express why we don't like her reports? You're right...it's all because Ms. Hoarse got Joseph and Gardenia to protect her. Maybe the former news anchor (Ms. True?!?) did not have any protection from others which is why she left...You know what Webster, I think Joseph is abusing his power by helping Ms. Hoarse with her program EVERY SINGLE weekend!!! I bet none of the DJs had these special treats...if Ms. Hoarse does show her passion at this field, she does not need others to help her. and I found out none of the other DJs promote Ms. Hoarse's program or anything about her except Joseph. She can't even express what she wants to say. As a new anchor she sucks already and she's suckER being a DJ. It's been at least one month, I can't feel her improvement at all.
Don't mind about crazy Gardenia. She all know she is the one that's in love with Joseph. I wonder how old is she...desperate woman.

Hi webster!

I am definitely interested to see the pics of your cute doggie! Care to share some cute pics of him/her with us and tell us things about him/her?

webster... I understand what you are saying and I try to be in your shoes to feel your frustration and anger, but I also have to say that I kinda miss the old webster who often posted something interesting for me to think about things and life. Don't know about you, but in my humble opinion, life is much too short to let any negative feelings or emotions constantly reside in you, which then makes it even shorter... Emily's forum has always been a fun and friendly one and there is a group of wonderful people who enjoy the fun together here. I really don't wish to see the upsetting type of posts here. And I'm sure this comment from you is not gonna make bewitch feel comfortable posting here... Of course you have the right to voice out what you think about things... but it'll be very kind of you if you also try to be in others' shoes for a minute as well. I remember telling you more than once that I enjoyed reading your posts as long as the viewpoints were stated rationally and the tone did not get a little too offensive. I believe that you can convey your ideas better to avoid people's misunderstandings about you... Being outsopken isn't a bad thing, but how you convey your thoughts while caring about how people feel is a lesson that everyone, including myself, has got to learn. For me, learning the art of communication is still a work in progress... Anyway, webster... I am definitely not arguing with you here... in fact, if you'd like to talk about things, I'll be more than happy to post my email addy for you. Some people from the ICRT forums have become great friends in real life and I'd like to invite your friendship too- sorry if this sounds too cheeky. In any case, just wanna let you know that you'll be more than welcome to talk about things with me via emails if you wish.

And Hughie, if my memories serve me right, this is something you said in one of your comments at the news room forum:

Quote:

having arguments on internet is stupid...

(hughiehughes, 2007/10/2 7:11)

to which I totally agree with you... Let's make it not just a statement, shall we?

Thank you. I'm actually a simple person. I love all my friends and whenever I received their e-mails, the tears welling.

I'll ask my doggie if he likes
his photo being put on the internet by me. ha ha. It's his privacy, you know.

Had you ever noticed that gardenia said the things I shared were sh+t? besides, I don't like to share those with the dj anymore. It's worthless.

What I fight is only the "respect". I don't think they really care about audiences here.

cheers!!

This just says so much about you, webster.

I understand that and I believe you deserve to be treated with respect as much as everyone else does. Like a DJ's remark that I once shared with you, I also hope that everyone can learn to be more considerate for each other and be thoughtful enough for people's feelings... Life is much too short to constantly live with anger... You can make a choice to enjoy life and live with happiness.

Can't say I know the DJs well enough to agree, disagree or make a conclusion on this webster... but I do think there are DJs doing their best to show their sincere concerns about their listeners (hence the reason why I love to tune in! ). As for JJ, although he is not always responsive, trust me webster, he's REALLY busy... and he definitely means well even if he can't always afford the time to answer each and every listener. I am not saying that I know him very well and I am not defending him, but just wanna share what I do know with you and I hope you trust me on this one.

Hope you have a happy hump day! Oh and don't forget to let us know if your doggie minds showing off his cute pics to us!

winnie:

I will keep your e-mail address. Thank you!

So you're really raising a pig? I thought it's you download from the internet! What foods you give he or she? I thought to raise one but my family doesn't agree. So I think I need to consider they opinion. I also thought to raise a white mouse since they are very pitiful that being one of the experimental animals. But my family doesn't agree. Last time I watched the cartoon about a chef mouse that he is so cute. The movie is really great.
You know, from your pet, I think you will be getting along with your future husband very well, since men...............ha ha......I think you pig is the most luckiest in the world!

I think you are brighthearted so you can raise a pig to be a pet.
I also think you wear a pink glasses to see dj joseph. I more agree with hugh that he is abusing his power of broadcasting!!
Everyone is busy. It's not an excuse if a person want to do a specific thing very hard.
He did everything or ignored everything on purpose. The whole ICRT seems a empty town.
It's bored to write opinions to them. bored and meaningless!

I'll go check my doggie's photos now. He agreed with that idea but he insisted I must find the one's that much handsome. It's not hard because he is so cute!later

Re: Buddy Pets
I love the picture, webster! And hey I also own one of that kind of camera! And Moo is right! We'd LOVE to hear things about this handsome dog (how should we address him properly? Mind telling us his name?) if you don't mind and if he permits.

Yes my family does have a pet pig at home Webster & Hughie... It was a surprise for me too as I first met her when I returned from a trip in early July (hence the date of the picture was July 3rd as shown). We usually feed her fruits and sweet potatoes (she's quite a picky pig when it comes to food and she doesn't much care for other types of food), but sometimes she likes to eat snack crackers, depending on her mood. ) Okay, let me share one more secret about her with you all (since I am not really a good master ). She has a fear of height! There were times when she climbed up to the higher floors of our house, but then she couldn't work out how to walk down the stairs. All she did was keep shaking (because of her fear of height) and keep screaming (and you know how awful that sound is...) to draw our attention so we could save her! I love my pet pig, but one thing not so cool about owning a pet pig is... whenever you see pork (which can be found in so many dishes in Taiwan), you start feeling really bad!

I agree with you that the family's approval is important before we adopt a pet. I have asked my parents about getting a dog from chieftain in May, but got refused. ƒ¼ And I had (still have) no ideas why the heck mom suddenly got a pig 2 months later...

I know about the movie about a chef mouse, webster. I missed it when it was out at box office. I'm currently traveling in China and when I went to Suzhou for a bit sightseeing last weekend, I saw a DVD copy (a pirate one) of that movie and couldn't help but pick up a copy (I know, boo on me!). I can't wait for the authorized DVD copy, so I thought I'd get this one first and if I really like it, I'll buy an authorized copy when it's made available. Can't wait to go home and check it out!

webster, thanks so much for the huge compliments on me...I'm really flattered... *blushed*! I'll remember to treat my future husband like a pig. (Well, if only he ever shows up! *sigh* )

Also, thanks for taking the time to note down my email addy. I'd love to read thoughts and ideas from you and share mine with you as well via email exchanges as I feel more freely to talk about things that way. I don't feel the need to please everyone here when I do speak up my thoughts, but I am just the very sensitive type... and I couldn't help but care about people's feelings... I don't want to cause any unnecessary misunderstandings or disputes just because I might convey my thoughts wrongly. You know how words and good intentions can get misinterpreted (I remember we talked about this earlier this year in another forum), so I hope you understand this.

Hi Webster,
Back then,i don't intend to criticized Ms.True...as a matter of fact i love her voice too. What i want for her is to improve herself on reading the news.Of course we all make mistake...but in Ms.True's case...she's a news anchor. And one more thing..please let's not include Louisa,JJ or Gardenia here, they have nothing to do with my comment last time about Ms.True.
I heard about the dj's here on ICRT says that we are free to post our comments or suggestions here on forum. So,mine was just one of those.I apologize if i make any trouble whatsoever..most esp.to Ms.True.
I guess Ms.True didn't get fired because of my comment.Maybe because she has any other plans already made and it just so happened that i post my comment.I don't believe ICRT will fired Ms.True just because of what i've said.
And to you winnie..you are such a nice gal on this forum!
So here's pol once again to say...

Hello, miss bewitch,

I didn't mean to connect the mess of joseph's forum with your thread. I just felt deplored about their irrational reactions. It's ridiculous that I couldn't imagine it from the first place. so I put some words about it here. I also don't think True was fired by icrt. I think she found a job much batter than the former one.

Your dog is very cute. I learned happy animals will smile. I had seen the smile cat photos, of course dogs.

To moo goo, sure I'll share something about my doggie to you guys, and thanks for your approval to my dog. He is a cute little thing and has his strong personal character, just like me.
BTW, moo goo sounds like mushroom in mandarin, which is very cute!

To Winnie,

My doggie's name is Pony. Many people(Westerners) told me that that's not a name for a dog. My dog is pretty like a pony, wild.
I'll write to you to share my thinking sometimes when I brew many of it. ha ha. But bear me if I don't have too much time for e-mails writing.
We are having the same astrological sign, so I think we sure have many interesting thinking to share.

Have a nice and safe tour in China

cheers!

Cute pictures, Bewitch. Don't know if I've ever seen a dog with as many facial expressions as Pol. Okay, back to your question...there are a lot of different ways to resize pictures. It really depends on what type of software you have available to you. If you have MS Paint then you can use the following quick and simple method for resizing pictures (if you don't have this program on your computer, let me know and we'll try something else).

First, open the picture using the Paint program. Once you have done this, click on 'Image' from the menu bar, then select 'Resize/Skew' from the pulldown menu (see below).

This will bring up the 'Resize and Skew' window. Enter the new size by typing in the percent you would like the picture to be resized to. Click the OK button when you are done (see below).

Note: You should enter the same number in the vertical resize box as you do in the horizontal resize box, (otherwise your picture will become distorted). Don't forget to save it when you're done. You may want to use the SAVE AS command and give it a new name so it doesn't overwrite your original image. Good luck and if you have any questions, or problems, just let me know. If I can't help you, I'm sure someone here on the forum can.

You know Winnie, ever since you posted that picture of ½Þ¤p©f, and started telling us stories about her, I haven't been able to eat any pork dishes...

Yeah... I haven't been able to eat any either... You know, I've been thinking about making ½Þ¤p©f a "high-tech" pig... I mean... I don't want her to get lost some day (although she hates going out) and end up being found in a pot... so am thinking about getting a chip inserted or something.

It still feels kinda strange when I see a pig walk around the house freely. Anyway, she's quite some entertainment for our guests and everyone loves her.

There were. But the list was too long to make a nice, clean example so I had to edit it down a little.

That's a lame excuse... If you had just wanted a nice and clean example to be presented, you could've shown only the top 5 or top 10 posters and their tallies... Admit it, you can't live without bullying me!

You know what, bewitch, I think Pol should do TV commercials with all that he can do!

I haven't had a chance to take more pics of my piggy yet as of now I'm very busy, but will do later...

Re: Buddy Pets
LOL, that new pic of Pol cracks me up! Looks like Pol is willing to try just about anything!

I'd love to dress up my piggy, but she doesn't like us to put anything on her at all. And to avoid hearing that torturing and horrible squeal from her, we try not to irritate her too much...

OK, when I have a bit more time to take some more pics, I'd be more than happy to post them here.

Great pictures, bewitch, thanks for sharing them. That picture of POL as a puppy is SO cute! So did you dress him up for Halloween?
