ATTENTION: Important News For All 'Song Title Contest' Contestants

There are two important additions to the 'Song Title Contest'.

First, the moogoogaipan foundation is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring djEmily in her efforts to climb the world's tallest building, for charity.

Between now and May 15th, for each valid song title posted in the 'Song Title Contest', the mooogoogaipan foundation will donate NT 10 to the Canadian Society's charity climbathon. The funds will be pledged to djEmily's account, in the name of the person making the post. For example, say between now and May 15 you post 25 song titles; the moogoogaipan foundation will donate NT 250 to djEmily's account, in your name.

The more you post, the more you will be helping out our celebrity climber. Not only can you have a little fun on the forum you'll also be helping out a great charity and giving our favorite DJ the support she'll need to get up those 1899 steps. So get with it and start posting!

Second, due to the fantastic response that the'Song Title Contest' has generated, three additional prizes will be awarded:

• Best Post - NT 3,000
• Most Song Titles Posted - NT 2,000
• Funniest Post - NT 1,000

Note: To be considered eligible, the post must contain a song title and artist. In the case of the 'Most Song Titles Posted' award, duplicate song titles will not be counted.

These will be awarded at the end of the contest, so with tens of thousands of song titles still unposted, there's still plenty of time left. The prizes will be retroactive to the start of the contest, so feel free to go back and edit any previous posts (but not the song titles themselves).

A couple notes for people that may be new to the 'Song Title Contest'……

First, only unique songs (previously unposted) are considered eligible for the contest or charity fund raiser. Rather than sifting through 40+ pages of song titles to see if your song has already been posted, a song title index is available for reference. It gets updated every day or two and includes a list of song titles previously posted, in alphabetical order.

There has been a request to put the index on the first page of the 'Song Title Contest'. I think it’s a good idea. In the future, people won't have to search through the last 4 ~ 5 pages of songs to look for it. From now on, it will reside on page one at the bottom of the first post. Make sure you check it before posting any new songs. Just keep in mind that it only gets updated only every day or two, so it may not include the newest songs that have been posted.

Second, back-to-back posts are allowed. So if someone wants to post say 10 songs in a row, it's okay to do so, just as long as they meet the rules outlined on page 1 of the contest.

Re: ATTENTION: Important News For All 'Song Title Contest' Contestants
I have a couple questions about the contest. I am in Taiwan now but might not be here when the contest ends. Am I still elgible for the prizes? I am way behind some people in posting. If I want to try for the most song titles posted, could I post say 30 songs back to back?

Re: ATTENTION: Important News For All 'Song Title Contest' Contestants

Hey Jazzbo, the contest is open to any forum member regardless of where you may be located. When the contest is over, we will be contacting the winners to make arrangements as to the best way to get the prize(s) to them.

Back-to-back posts have always been allowed. As long as there is only one song title per post and it conforms to the rules listed on page one of the 'Song Title Contest', there should be no problem. Just keep in mind that other people may be posting at the same time and this could affect the final outcome.
